An old story
Six blind men meet an elephant. One grabs the trunk: “Ah a snake!” One touches the ear: “No, it’s just a fan.” One hugs a leg: “It’s a tree.” The flank is a wall. The tusk a spear. The tail a rope. All very certain of themselves. All totally wrong.
